-can get another recordable box with £5 /month extra
-can get another recordable box for 1 of £30 charge
can not get another recordable box
l am extremely diss appointment with these different information. Would expect more professional approach to the customer

Hi @GURCEL looking at the responses you were given by the various EE representatives
-can get another recordable box with £5 /month extra
Incorrect - as EE only supply the non recordable EETV Box Mini as an extra loan box. The £5/month charge would be an Extra Box addon. (some plans/offers have different charges or no charge).
-can get another recordable box for 1 of £30 charge -
Incorrect - £30 is typically a oneoff charge levied for activation of EETV boxes when they are first supplied.
can not get another recordable box
Correct - EE current policy which they show no signs of changing is to supply the Box Mini as the extra box model. Some customers have successfully replaced the EE supplied Extra Box (Mini) with their own recordable box . Your supported devices will be the ones that EE loan you.

I also rue the day I changed. Whist a lot of good things with integration etc I was with Sky where not only could you record in another room you could also watch your recordings. I will change back at the end of my contract. Hopefully EE will realise that if they want to retain their customer base they need to review their policy.

@MickyP59 That’s down to the manufacturers of the boxes so they can talk to one another. I believe it’s two different manufacturers so don’t expect that anytime soon.

Are EE planning on reconsidering this approach, as it is very outdated compared to Virgin and Sky and is highly inconvenient for your customers?

@Karen2351 I doubt it, it’s one pro box only from EE ( hint ) Last time I checked you couldn’t record on the other TV providers 2nd box but you could stream from the recording box to the 2nd box. Thats not an option with EEs pro box
there is a work around but this will cost you and a it’s a purchase from elsewhere to get a 2nd pro box.
