EE TV Issues

After some advice please, I have several tv boxes and all are having issues the image quality is poor and is pixelating several times a minute which is making it unwatchable. I can use the apps i.e. ItvX but not live channels which is very frustrating. I have tested the signal on my laptop in the same room which is fine and the speeds are decent. I have reset the box and the router but is still happening. I did try the chat with us on their website but was left on "hold" for over an hour which then went past the open times.. just after some hints and tips.

Are you using WiFi or network cables to connect your TV boxes to the router?
Which TV boxes are you using? Pro, Apple or mini?
How far is your boxes from the router? They should only be 5 meters away max or you'll need the EE home WiFi booster https://ee.co.uk/broadband/smart-wifi
EE doesn't recommend any other WiFi extender for their services. You could try others but if they don't work, EE won't offer any support.
