Just coming up to my renewal of sky, meaning they are about to double the price I pay, thought I’d look into EETV and figure out the different packages between the EETV Pro and EETV AppleTV, not been able to do this online, so popped into my local EE Store. They too where unable to do it, saying the system kept giving them error messages and told me I should call, which I have done today.
That started of the same, with the EE Guide saying the system was giving her error messages, said she’d go seek help, to cut a long story short, it turns out because I have the Busiest Home bundle, I can’t get have EETV. The guide can’t explain why having the fastest fibre speed EE do, means I can’t get TV.
Seems utter madness to me…..

From what I understand after reading a few posts on the forum about this, it’s due to the 1.6 Gbps fibre service being on a different ordering system to everything else.
I have TV and the 900 Mbps service but can’t get 1.6 yet although if I pretend to be a new customer it comes up as an option (but no TV if it’s selected).
The only option I can think of is, if they’ll let you, downgrade to 900 and add TV until the 1.6 is available with TV.

It’s all very odd, huge organisation such as BT/EE, hard to think that the systems are so disjointed it prevents them getting more custom. Thing is, I am in contract on the fibre and don’t necessarily want to downgrade, all I have been wanting to get is prices, but they can’t even tell me that.
Think the best thing I can do, is log it as a formal complaint so I can get the prices and then decide what I want to do.

I agree, it is very odd they haven’t resolved this yet as it’s been like this for a while now.
I had a few issues when originally ordering EE TV and had to raise a complaint for it to be resolved.
I already had an Apple TV so I knew what to expect from the box itself but you need one provided by them to be able to use the EE TV app fully.
Anyway the EE TV app worked great and still does. To me it seems like they have the product ready for release but nobody has thought about the ordering system and what that looks like from a customer perspective.
