Advice please

I’m thinking of moving to EE broadband, TV & home phone. Using the Apple TV box.
I will probably take the Big Sport package, which I believe I can adjust every month if I wish. Does that mean that if I take off the Sky Sport pack for one month that will reduce my payment by about £30? Likewise if I take off the TNT pack that will also reduce my payment by a similar amount? Also I am thinking of getting the full fibre 150 with the Smart Hub Pro & Smart WiFi Pro with WiFi 7. I would want the Hub in my study & the Apple TV box in my lounge, connected by WiFi. Will this work without any connection issues please? Thank you, Chas.

You would need to swap Big Sport to Sport or to entertainment etc. You can only swap to another package.

The only package you can't switch is no frills but this is listed on BTs site and not EE, which is confusing. But this would only give you the basic channels anyway.

It depends how far your router is from your TV box. If it's more than 5 metres and it pixelates you may then need something like the EE WiFi booster https://ee.co.uk/broadband/smart-wifi

Thank you Weerab2024. It seems it is not as flexible as sky stream where you can add on & take off Sky Sports or TNT Sport on a monthly basis.
Do you think it would be more beneficial for me to choose the standard hub & the WiFi booster rather than the  Smart Hub Pro & Smart WiFi Pro with WiFi 7?

Thanks, Chas

EE is flexible in a different way as you don't need to have entertainment on every package but you do get some free to air channels in IP mode on the apple TV box.

It really depends on what your after, it's definitely a better deal with regards to the TNT sports channels as these are more expensive with sky.

The WiFi 7 is better than the WiFi 6 standard as it is newer. I would maybe go with 7 and if you need the booster, you can get it for £100 as a one off cost.

It's also down to deals and prices and what is better for your circumstances.

If it doesn't work for you, you've got 14 days to about turn.
