Why does it show on my phone that my mobile data is only 2gb when my tariff is 17gb

On my phone on the connections/data usage it say I have gone over my 2gb, but on my EE app on my account it says my allowance is 17gb

Tap on where it says 2Gb and change it to 17Gb, the phone defaults to 2Gb, you can even change it something stupid like 220480Gb
