Possible scam?

DylanPs
Visitor

I received a phone call yesterday from 020 3994 8879 offering to give me a 33% discount on the remainder of my mobile contract with EE. Following the call I also received a confirmation e-mail.

Today the same person called me again, this time wanting to remotely update my EE App, and expecting me to click on a link and enter a passcode in order to change my password.

This all seems highly suspicious to me. Anybody else had a similar experience?
