I texted my wife to ask her if she would be arriving today at 14:00.
Her reply was and I've checked it myself:
'Yes.xxx'.
However, what arrived on my phone was:
'Yes.xxx'
'Long Porn Videos, High Definition Porn Movies -
YES.XXX
Yes! We sharing the latest free porn movies with you. Just enjoy it for free!'
How can this be, has her phone been hacked?
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Hi @---GW---,
In your messaging app open the menu from the top right of your screen, tap settings. You should then see an option called Automatic previews. This will allow you to turn off web link previews.
This is for the default Samsung messaging app, if you're using a different app, please let me know.
Hope this helps. 🙂

There is a porn site with the domain yes.xxx. Somehow your phone or its keyboard app has inserted a link rather than plain text.

Thank you, so this is just a coincidence with the text content she used and a flaky app/kybd?

Indeed so. There may be an option in your phone's settings for "do I show links instead of text" or something similar.
