no SIM in iphone 13

Last night my pay monthly phone started saying that I have no SIM card inserted. I took it out, cleaned it (which made no difference) and eventually reset my network settings. That got rid of the no SIM notification however since then I have had no signal at all on my phone. When I go into Settings and then into Mobile Data, it asks me to set up a Mobile Service.

I have done the Coverage checker and there is nothing on there about any kind of issue and I am having this issue in multiple locations as I went from my house to work this morning.

Anyone else having this issue or know what's going on?

@ShivvyK91  Sounds like you need to request a replacement Sim card. You can do this by calling customer services or you can go to a EE store with photo ID to request a replacement SIM card.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Hi @Chris_B thanks for replying.

I don't suppose you have any idea why this would happen in the first place? Everything was working fine last night and then suddenly it wasn't.

Hi @ShivvyK91

Thanks for coming here.

If the SIM card has become faulty this could happen at any time, are you able to try the SIM in another phone?

Leanne.

Hi @Abriedev

Thanks for coming here.

Are you able to try the SIM card in another device to see if this follows the SIM or if this a problem with the phone?

Leanne 🙂
