iMessage number not correct

Hi all

i have recently joined EE and ported my number from Three. 

I have noticed that on my iMessage and FaceTime settings my number is incorrect. I assume it is the number EE gave me before my Three number was ported. 

When I add my correct number it then lists it, but tells me that iMessage and FaceTime can’t be used with this number?

 

Any help appreciated.

@Aaron155  Turn off iMessage and FaceTime then restart the device. Now in Settings phone make sure your number is correct if it is you can turn iMessage and FaceTime back on. 

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Just tried, didn’t work unfortunately.

If you follow these steps does your correct number show?

Settings > Tap your name > Scroll down and tap your iPhone > then you will see your number.

No, it shows the wrong number in there, assume it’s the original EE number before mine was ported.
