HI i have just upgraded my phone but i want to keep my number. my old one is already with EE.. how do i do this? the PAC code doesnt seem to be recognised

@logielo : EE won't port nos. between its contracts. So you need to 1st port your existing no. to another network's PAYG using a PAC from EE & then in reverse port it back to your new contract. This will also have the effect of cancelling your old contract.

You could alternatively move your old contract to PAYG with 30 days notice & then ask EE to transfer the no to your new contract.

A PAC is for porting between networks, not within networks.

Did you purchase your new phone as an upgrade? You would have kept your number as a matter of course if you did. Just put your existing working SIM in your new phone.
