URGENT PLEASE Iphone SE Esim not processed no network

urgently needed to set up iphone SE before i go to hospital and although i followed everything through to change to an esim about half an hour into the process it switched from processing to trying to connect.  It never connected.  now i have 2 iphones and neither will connect to a network.  I cant get the pin to activate the esim oh help please.  I cant get to a shop.

@TillyTrouble13  Did you at all put your sim in the new device?
