Still receiving promo from old network

I switched from vodafone to ee and ported my number successfully. Its been 2 months since I joined ee. But I am still receiving promotional text messages from voda. There is an option to stop those messages but it only works for voda sims/numbers. Has anyone been in a similar situation?

It's a question you should potentially direct at Voda, it's they who are sending the messages and EE are delivering them to your phone.

Are the nature of these texts specific to you, or are they more general marketing messages?
