I'm also having activation issues, just received iPhone 14 max pro with new SIM this morning, have put some in went through set up but no service, I have done the usual taken SIM out put back in, turned phone off and on and even factory reset but nothing, went to my EE found activate SIM but asking to put new number in which makes no sense to receive code as it's not active so put my other number in to receive code but saying "that didn't work".

Never had an issue with set up so will just send back.

I’m experiencing the exact same issue as yourself. I was wondering all in all how long did it take for your SIM card to be activated to allow you to use your service?

Hi there, for my issue it wasn't the sim in the end it was actually that my new phone was actually blacklisted apparently, I have literally just turned it off and on again and now I have service after 2 phone calls to EE so I would suggest calling them and asking if they can check if it's blacklisted for whatever reason and as that department is open right now it shouldn't take too long, let me know how you get on 🙂

thank you for your response. I am a new EE customer on contract. I ordered the phone last week, DPD lost the initial parcel and I only received my replacement this morning. I rang EE, she activated it and told me it would take 24 hours but I know these things usually happen within a few hours so I was just enquiring on others experiences but if you can help I would appreciate it 🙂

Im a new EE customer you see so that may have something to do with it as DPD lost my initial parcel last week and have only jsut received the phone today. I just have never in my life had to wait 24 hours for me to use my data minutes etc. I’ll give them a call in the morning if it doesn’t come on and I’ll let you know!

Good morning, I very much doubt it's the sim so definitely call them now as they open from 8am and just ask them to check if phone is blacklisted.
What phone is it and is it brand new or a refurbished one like mine which was classes as good as new?

I have reset the phone and still nothing.

Have called the team they said a reactivation has been put on and I should be able to use my service by 11am hopefully, But I will tell you here if it is not

I called them this morning and they said that they have put a reactivation on. They said it should definitley be on by 11am so hopefully this is the case. It's a brand new iphone 14 pro max Nate. 

Still waiting Chris.

 

Reset my phone 5 times since 11 am and nothing so please can you investigate as I need this turned on today badly to move into property which doesn't have any service other than what I will be using from my new phone when it finally works
