My SIM stopped working

My old SIM stopped working all of sudden, so I ordered a new SIM. However, the new SIM doesn't work either and it still shows NO SERVICE.

Hi @JeanPi,

Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂

Do you know why your old SIM stopped working? Was it damaged?

How did you order your replacement?

James

Hi, the SIM stopped working all of sudden. It wasn't damaged, so I thought there is an issue with the SIM and ordered a replacement from EE. However, when I inserted the new SIM, I had the same problem. I tried to put the SIM in different phones and it is also not working. Called Customer Service, but they say my account has no issues.

I'm on contract.

Hi there @JeanPi

Thanks for coming back to us 🙂

Does any other SIM card work in the phone?

Has the replacement SIM card been registered?

Leanne 🙂

Yes, other SIM works in the phone. I didn't register the SIM, because I was told by the EE employee that I don't need to. Moreover, I cannot have the message sent to the number, as the SIM doesn't have network.

Hi @JeanPi

Thanks for coming back to me.

I would suggest getting back in touch with our customer care team, they can check the SIM card number and make sure this is registered for you, and if not they can register this over the phone.

Let me know how you get on 🙂

Leanne.
