Hello. I need help with my new order.
I already have an EE mobile number: 0790--388, which I have been using for a long time.
I ordered a new iPhone 17 Pro Max, but I think a new mobile number (075--1263) has been created by mistake.
I do not want a new number.
I want to keep my existing number 0790--388 and use it on my new iPhone.
My current SIM is a physical SIM, and I would like it to be changed to an eSIM for my new phone.
Could you please move my new contract onto my existing number and cancel the new number if possible?
Thank you

Request to Transfer My New Contract to My Existing Number and Cancel the New Number
Dear EE Customer Services
I recently ordered a new iPhone 17 Pro Max.
I already have an EE mobile number, 0790–388, which I have been using for a long time. I noticed that a new mobile number (075–1263) has been created with my new order, but I do not want a new number.
I would like to keep my existing number 0790–388 and use it with my new iPhone. My current SIM card is a physical SIM, and I would like to change it to an eSIM.
Could you please:
• Transfer my new iPhone contract to my existing number (0790–388).
• Cancel the new number (075–1263), if possible.
• Convert my existing physical SIM into an eSIM.
I also have an older EE contract on my existing number, which included an unlimited data plan. After purchasing my new iPhone, I signed a new contract with a new data plan, so I no longer need my previous data plan.
Could you please let me know:
• Is it possible to cancel my previous contract?
• Or do I have to continue paying until the end of its minimum term?
I still need to keep my existing mobile number and SIM, but I no longer need the old data plan. I do not need the new number at all.
Unfortunately, when I placed my order, I was unable to explain this because my English is not very good. I hope your team can review my account and help resolve this situation.
I find written communication much easier than speaking on the phone, so I would really appreciate it if we could continue this matter by email or another written method.
Thank you very much for your time and assistance.

There is no access to individual customer accounts on this public internet forum, however by means of general advice...
Changing your phone and/or plan whilst keeping your existing number is called upgrading - if you order your chosen new phone/plan combination as an upgrade, you will retain your number as a matter of course. EE as a matter of policy, will not transfer numbers between lines in the way you request, precisely because that's what the upgrade process is there for.
Assuming you purchased your new phone via telesales or online methods (regardless of who the seller was), then all distance sales in the UK come with a statutory 14days "change of mind" right of return which you may be wise to use. Then you can purchase it as an upgrade.
You can give 30days cancellation notice on any phone at any time, but there will be early termination charges for doing so whilst under the minimum-term.

@SAEID_snr : To add a couple points you mention on top of @bristolian wise advice:
Otherwise go right ahead & invoke your statutory cooling-off period & reorder as suggested.
