I have just joined EE after cancelling Three contract due to getting a Huawei Watch 4 pro and EE being listed as one of the UK network suppliers that offer a compatible esim.
I explained this to the sales agent when signing up over the phone and was advised this wouldn't be an issue.
I am now seeing posts that say EE will not work on the Huawei device!?
Does anyone have a definitive answer on this? Has.anyone actually successfully got.an esim working on the Huawei watch?

I hope this is not true as I've just cancelled my contract with three and moved to EE to allow my phone and Huawei watch 4 pro to be connected to network!
Your sales agent on the phone said this wouldn't be an issue!

Huawei also state on their product information page for the Watch 4 that EE is one of the confirmed network providers that allow esim network access.

Hi @MadfishJDM
Thanks for coming to the community.
I am very sorry eSIM is not available for the watch, full compatible devices can be found in the What is an eSIM and how do I use an eSIM? Help page. The watch will connect via Bluetooth.
To discuss your options please call us on 150 and the team will get this looked into for you.
Leanne.

Very disappointing, I'll have to cancel my new contract.
Your sales advisors should have more knowledge about this.
why would Huawei state that you are compatible?

@MadfishJDM It only state that EE support eSim capability its doesn’t state that EE supports the device. That’s totally different and you need to bring that to the attention of Huawei.

And the sales team needs to learn this distinction as well
