Roaming in France

RobertC2
Visitor

I am looking at options to get roaming in France for about 3 weeks in July.

Currently on Essentials Unlimited monthly plan. I can upgrade to  Essentials Unlimited Plus for another £3 pm, which seems reasonable. But, is there a minimum contract period, can I simply downgrade again when I get back?

The only other option I found was a £15 for 7 day pass?

Hi @RobertC2

Thanks for coming here.

Please ensure you select a 30 day rolling contract, this will allow you to change your plan after 30 days.

There is no option for  30 day rolling. It is very unclear what the roaming add on provides, with EE One EE Essentials Unlimited

If you have EE Broadband, you will be offered the EE One offers which are discounted Unlimited Allowance SIMs with a 1-month minimum term on a rolling contract.

There is an EE One No Frills, Essentials, Essentials Plus, All Rounder and Full Works plan.

Essentials Plus and All Rounder include EU Roaming free-of-charge, and Full Works includes EU and ROW Zone 1 Roaming free-of-charge.

The EE One Essentials plan does not feature any free-of-charge roaming.

If you are on a SIM Only EE One plan with a 1-month minimum term and have been with EE for longer than 6 months, you can swap between these plans every 30 days via the Upgrade process provided you choose another one of these plans and not a 24-month non-EE One plan.

If you are on a EE One Airtime plan with a Flex Pay tariff however, it may not be possible to swap your airtime in this manner.

If you do not have EE Broadband, the above does not apply.
