Hi there,

I have a swappable roam further pass on my smart plan...I have been looking to see if I can use my data as normal in Jamaica as I go in a couple of months but cannot find a clear answer. Please can anyone help?

Thanks

Shelby

@sgregory93   The roam further pass doesn’t include Jamaica.  It only covers the US, Canada,Australia,New Zealand and Mexico.

Hi there @sgregory93

Wow Jamaica, that sounds amazing 🙂

The Roam Further Pass doesn't include Jamaica, you would pay for calls, texts and need an data add-on.

Before you go, make sure your set up for using your phone abroad by logging into your My EE account online go to Menu > Account Settings > Blocking > Roam Worldwide and also Call Abroad and Premium rate> They will show as ticked if roaming and calling abroad is activated.

Hope you have an amazing time 🙂

Leanne.

As it is not in EU, you cannot use your usual allowances there but will need to pay the charges as set out in https://ee.co.uk/help/add-ons-benefits-and-plans/call-or-going-abroad/roaming-costs/countries/jamaic... .

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

@sgregory93 I'm not sure why you think it's not clear.

Hi I have already traveled to Jamaica so will I be unable to set up my roaming plan?

You should be able to set it up on My EE

Hi @MamaE63

Thanks for coming here 🙂

Are you looking to purchase a roaming add-on, or would you like to activate roaming?

Leanne 🙂
