Roaming charges are incurred when you do any of the following outside the UK: Making or receiving calls, sending text messages or using mobile data.

Merely connecting your phone to a foreign network is free of charge.

@Graydee  Are you on contract or PAYG ?

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Hi

I am on a sim only mothly contract, I text 150 with RO Bulgaria and I received a text saying roaming had been switched on, does this mean I will be charged £2.47 a day till I stop? Or are you only charged if you use the phone?

Thanks

Texts are free to receive worldwide.

If you are on contract, just remember to text ROAMING to 150 before you leave UK to ensure the roaming ability is enabled on your account.

If you are on PAYG, just make sure you had already used your PAYG SIM to make a call or text in the UK.
