I am going to Ireland in January, but if someone calls me does it let them know i am away or does it ring as if i’m in england?

Any callers to your UK number will receive a ringtone local to the country you're roaming in.

There are no incoming call charges for roaming in Ireland currently, and callers are still dialling your UK number and thus charged for a call to a UK number
