I will be in China for a few months, so I am not buying a monthly PAYG pack for now. But I bought the REST OF THE WORLD & 100 UK mins for 30days 2 add ons, just want able to receive & make calls.
However it seems still using my credits for I made call to a UK number.
1. How can I make and receive calls?
2. Where can I check my current rate for mins or texts?
3. Is it charged for receiving texts when I’m abroad?
4. Tried so many ways tried to find a real person for customer service but not successful, how should I contact?
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

The Rest of World IDD add-on is only for making calls from UK, not from China.
- You can make & receive calls there for £1.80 / min.
- Receiving texts is free worldwide bust sending them is 60p each.
- Try calling CS on the Freephone no. in my sig. on Skype over WiFi. It should be free.

Thanks for your response.
So based on what you said, just to want to confirm I got what you mean:
1. No pack or add on could cover make & receive calls when I’m in China, I can only use my credits on the China roaming rate.
2. Tried calling the number you provided, still got a couple of options and an automated reply, so basically there’s no chance of communicating via phone with a real person.

Hi,
When you call 150 from your pay as you go phone, it will tell you are you balance and an ad for improved packs,
After that, you will hear more options
1. To top up a pay as you go phone
other mobile enquiries press 2
So press 2 then option 3 and at the end of that list it says option 4 which says to speak to a member of the team for anything else press 4
