Porting contract number to PAYG

I called 150 from what is now a PAYG number to get it ported onto an existing line on my contract, got cut off during the call and now when I try to call back its saying "not registered on network". Can an EE agent please advise what to do?

@Kitten82   does your phone show you has having a network connection? 

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Is the PAYG no. on EE or some other network?

Yes, 2 bars which is good for my village believe me 😉 Did a test call & got mailbox so presume they went ahead and ported it without calling me back as both numbers are already mine & both with EE. By my reckoning I need a new SIM with the ported number on now !?! 🤔

Don't worry, you won't need a new SIM.

 

Have you had a text message to say your number is porting over to your pay monthly SIM card?
