phone number formatted incorrectly

Hi.

I have one phone number in my contact list that suddenly has stopped letting me send sms messages to and just keeps saying phone number formatted incorrectly. I use to be able to send ok.

I have tried deleting and re-entering but still no joy, can you help?

Beginning to think it's an issue with the other person's phone what do you think?

Hi @Lindaxx

If all other numbers work for you and you can call them, then you should have no problems sending a text.

Did you get the same error with your SIM card in another phone?

Do you know if they can get texts from everyone else?

Thanks for all your help, I asked them to look into the issue with there provider and they have resolved it.

It looks like the issue was solved by the receivers service provider. What issue are you seeing? Is it just a problem with one particular number?

Yes... It's just this 5 digit number, it was working fine.. I can't even STOP the promotion... Same message.. Number incorrectly formated... 🤔
