I have a 3g tablet 2016 Samsung 7in A6. Its 3g but has LTE. Is that the same as 4g LTE. Will it still work when 3g is finally discontinued

@mcdonaldalex826 LTE is another name for 4G it’s not associated with 3G. Is the device is a 3G only tablet when 3G shuts down then the device will not have cellular data connection.
Have you tried putting a 4G SIM card in the tablet?

Are you having any problems with your 3G or 4G connection?
Your tablet should work on whichever band is available, so long as it is built to use it.

If it shows LTE - that's a 4G connection, so you're good to go

The Samsung A6 (2016) is a 4G (LTE) CAT4 Tablet which supports all EE 4G Bands 1,3,7 and 20 so it will be fine.
