Hello,
I have recently switched over to SMARTY in order to get a better deal, as my mobile contract with EE ended recently and I decided to get one of their SIM-only contracts. I changed over my number to my new SIM.
I have found, by putting my new smarty SIM into my phone, that my phone is currently locked to EE and I need an 'NCK code' to unlock it. I have already used the method on the EE website to unlock it, and have entered both IMEIs associated with my device. However, every time I have entered either one of them (and I have done this at least 15 times over the span of about a week), I am told there has been an issue on EE's end.
I have contacted EE online to sort out this issue and get my phone unlocked, but apparently even the person I spoke to couldn't unlock the phone.
I am now unable to send or receive texts or calls, and I cannot use data on my phone. Because of this, I cannot call the customer service number to fix the issue or unlock my phone.
I don't know what to do now, but I really need this phone unlocked so I can go out and be able to tell friends/family where I am if I need to.
Thank you,
Chelsie

@Belle_Abeille : A locked phone isn't a locked SIM.
Try calling CS on the Freephone no. in my sig. on Skype over WiFi. It should be free.
