Beware of taking up tablet deal

GrahamKD

Whilst dealing with a broadband issue on the phone, I was told I was eligible for a tablet at just over four pound a month on top of my £19 monthly phone bill. I thought this was worth it as I could use my phone to hot spot it and not activate the new SIM.

My first bill arrived and is showing as £29 a month with next month's bill showing as being an estimated £726!!!!.

Everyone I have dealt with has been very nice and friendly and I have been an EE customer for many years, without issue, but this has left me feeling uneasy. I'm sure it will be resolved and returned but the inconvenience is daft, I have bought a case and headphones for the tablet and lost an hour of my weekend away trying to sort it out.

Good morning @GrahamKD

Thanks for coming here.

Have you been able to download your bill this month to see a breakdown of charges?

You can do this in the EE App OR your EE account online

Please let me know what reports so we can help further.

Katie

It's a one off payment connected to the tablet from what I can make out

Our customer care team will be able to rectify any errors on your bill.

Have you been able to get in touch?

Katie

I've applied for a return, I'm hoping that will just get me back to how I was originally
