iphone 17 pro max

i preordered the 17 pro max last saturday and when tracking it stayed on “awaiting confirmation”. i had not been contacted at all from anyone to alert me of any delays. it took for me to call the store to be told they are unsure of when i will receive my new phone. i am extremely annoyed as i was told i would receive it yesterday (19/09) and i still cannot get a straight answer.

Awaiting confirmation means your device is not ready for despatch which is likely due to stock. 

Did you buy online or in the store. If you speak to EE CS on 150 they might be able to provide more information.

Mines exactly the same I contacted them yesterday and they said it could be up to 28days due to stock which I wasn’t happy about, Take it you ordered the orange one

i ordered it in store and was told i would get it on Friday 19/09 which i never. i had no contact alerting me of a delay, i had to call myself. it is blue one. can someone please advise what the big “delay” in pro max's are as i have saw the normal 17 have been in no problem.

i  have done this and am no further forward. i have been told 3 different dates and timeframes by customer service, really unhappy about the whole situation.

I know it will be frustrating to be given different information, @leighbarr. The best thing to do will be to speak to the store where you have ordered your new contract. However, I'm confident that once stock is assigned to your order, you'll receive further updates.
