I ordered a new iPhone but I didn’t receive a order number and cannot track my order but the money was taking out of my account?

did you order online or over the phone? I ordered online yesterday and received confirmation email but was also asked to call and discuss it. I did that and they told me it hadnt actually gone through successfully despite it taking the money out of my account. She told me id get a refund for that order and we did it again over the phone. I haven't received confirmation nor can track the order yet but I have been re assured by various EE staff that my order was successful so im kind of just trusting the process. But all staff i have communicated with over the phone have been really helpful so might be worth giving them a call just to check
