EE order troubles

Hello,

I upgraded my iPhone last week to an iPhone 13. I've never had so many issues with receiving the phone. DPD turned up an hour earlier than their allotted slot last Weds so I missed the delivery (I have proof they delivered early thanks to my Ring doorbell). Then the phone was returned to EE and the upgrade cancelled.

EE messaged me to say that they had received the upgrade as DPD returned it to them. So I upgraded again on Saturday to an iPhone 13 as before. This was due to be delivered on Sunday, however, I had an accident Sunday morning that resulted in a trip to hospital so I had to reschedule the delivery to yesterday. I thought that this would be straightforward. How wrong was I. After waiting around all morning I managed to chat with someone online with DPD and all they said was it would be delivered yesterday but would check with the local depot. The DPD app on my phone then flashed up that it would be delivered by 10pm, I thought great I am going to get it today... Then around 5pm the app flashed up that it had been delivered, I thought that's odd as I didn't hear the doorbell or anyone knock on the door.. I checked the Ring doorbell footage and there was no sign of anyone about at 5pm. Very strange, I contacted DPD again who were adamant it had been delivered, I told them it hasn't as I have proof (thank god for Ring doorbells).. they have now opened an investigation.

I'm wondering what to do next as I'm going to be paying for a phone that I haven't actually received.

Has this happened to anyone else and if so was it resolved?

Thanks so much

Hello @Kezzae155 ,

Welcome to the community,

Sorry to hear all the problems you are having with delivery, but have you notified EE as well? You will not have to pay, if you have not received your phone, the payments should only start once you have set-up your phone and received it. Best to let EE know of the problems. Yes good to have the ring door bell, as you then have proof of no show, etc!

Hello,

thanks for your reply. I have let EE know and DPD have opened an investigation as well. It just seems like a big saga, hopefully EE will get back to me in the next 24 hours.

@Kezzae155 , hopefully you will here from EE soon and hope you get it sorted, good luck.
