I upgraded in store to the iPhone 14 pro max black and was told the order would be within 7 days, as I had heard nothing since I popped into the same store yesterday. When I asked about the deliver dates to stores I was told completely different information. It would now take 21-32 days. Which is correct as I’m now totally lost? How can they advise 7 days when it will take longer. The best about it is I have been with EE from when they were orange. So being lied to really dents that loyalty. Do I continue the upgrade or cancel and leave?

@Kdillon1 Store delivery times will be around the same as online delivery times. So you’ll be looking around the 28 day mark. See HERE There is a backlog of orders and going to a store will not get you the device any sooner.

I ordered a Pro Max 256GB black. It’s been 7 days so far with an incorrect text sent to advise that the order has been dispatched, when it had not as I called the store. What is the likelihood it will be dispatched this week 7-14 days?

The current estimate is still to expect dispatch within 14 days.
Hopefully DPD are in contact with you soon about the delivery.

Hey Chris,
so order date was 28-10, it’s now the 14/11. That is exactly 2 weeks and 2 days from point of order.
The new update I have been supplied states -
We'll let you know when your new APPLE IPHONE 14 PRO MAX 5G 256GB is on its way to you. There's lots you can do in the meantime, including backing up your old device.”
however it is not clear if it will be a day, 2 days or even a week over due.
can you supply some clarity please.

Interesting you got that text. You ordered the same capacity, same model and same colour as myself, and on the same date although mine was an online upgrade. I've not received any texts whatsoever and it just shows my order as "Your pre-order is confirmed" which it has done since the 28th October..... I've not been told "Your order is coming soon".
Usually that text message doesn't mean a lot. I got that text when there were the same delays with the iPad Pro 2021 last year. That text was sent to me a good few weeks before it was eventually delivered. I ended up waiting 52 days from order to delivery (about 7 and a half weeks).

As soon as we have an update on your order, the online order tracker will be updated. Orders are all sent out on a first come, first served basis clearing the oldest orders first.
The store will contact you once the order is ready to collect.

I’m not trying to be smart or rude by any means here. Your answer is an answer to a question, however it does not answer mine.
I know that if I was to order the same phone today according to your stock, it should only take 7 days to deliver. When I ordered my phone it stated 14 days.
So how much longer will I have to wait past the 14 days, which I remind you has already been and gone 3 days ago.
