Mis-sold my upgrade

Adamtmack
Explorer

I am very disappointed. I recently upgraded to the Google Pixel 7. The offer bundle I took out on 26th October included ear pods.

When I called 2 weeks later asking when these would be delivered I was told that there was no such offer taken and that the offer I was describing expired some time.before I took my device.

This is complete mis-selling and I will look to escalate this. Depending on the resolution to this problem will determine whether I continue service with EE past this point.

Very unhappy.

@Adamtmack

1. Order a new Google Pixel 7 smartphone between 6th October 2022 (15:45 – BST) and 17th October 2022 (23:59 – BST) and claim Google Pixel Buds Pro (colour choice is subject to availability)

2. To claim and for full T&Cs, head over to https://promo-rewards.com/2022launch/en-GB and enter the details requested

3. Claim between 1st November 2022 and 30th November 2022

4. You must be 18 or older and have a delivery address in the UK. Max 2 per household. Max 8 per business. EE and BT employees not eligible.

Just seeing an offer doesn’t mean you’re entitled to that offer, especially when you don’t check the dates involved. The offer wouldn’t have been seen on EEs store page so you probably seen it somewhere online and clicked it so taking you to the pixel page.    The offer wouldn’t have been shown as the offer was over so you assumed that because you clicked it you’ll get that offer.

The  free gift wasn’t sold to you so you as you freely admit you ordered after the order timeframe that gets you this free gift. Also free gifts are not part of the contract that you agreed to they are a free gift while stocks last.

This was an offer I took over the phone and I don't appreciate the tone. I wouldn't bring it up if it wasn't. You can check your records of me calling to finalise the upgrade

@Adamtmack  I can not check anything this isn’t customer services it’s a public forum.    You’ll have to call customer services about this.  As for my tone that’s how you took it it wasn’t intended to upset you.
