EE Perks - unable to verify details or reset password

I received an email last week to verify my identity as it was 2 years since EE perks was setup, I can't login as it doesn't recognise my password and it won't let me reset password either
I have tried again this morning to be told the account is locked for 24hours as I've tried too many times...

please advise?

Thanks for coming here. 

Are you using your work email to log in? 

Have you checked your junk/spam folder for the email?

yes trying to use my work email and I thought I had password but it doesn't
like it so I thought I'd reset the password. I'm getting the email ok with
the password reset link, but when I try to reset it I'm getting a message
saying unable to reset your password please try later. I've been trying
since I got the original email on Friday

Have you checked what the password needs to be and also this is not the same as your last password? @hmunro

Leanne. 

Leanne it gets all the green passes so it meets the requirements, I am
pretty sure it's not the same as my last one though I can't remember it
hence the reason I'm trying to reset it - but I have tried a completely new
password which I know it won't be as I've just thought of it...
I am using my work email address which is not this one
