Can't add voucher code

I'm trying to upgrade my current phone early. but when it comes to adding a voucher code I can't paste or type anything?

I'm looking to upgrade to a full price phone and plan, so nothing is already discounted.

Is this because I have an additional line on the account?

@Keebs1  if the area that you’re trying to put the code in is greyed out that means that that tariff is already discounted and you cannot add your discount to it.  You can only have one discount on a contract. In this case you need to call customer services.

You've mentioned that nothing is already discounted.

 

Have you double checked the Terms and Conditions of the voucher to see whether it can only be applied to new contracts or whether it also applies to upgrades?

 

A manual way to check this would be to log out and pretend you are buying a new SIM-only contract to see if the code is accepted there.
