BT Friends and family discount code

I’ve got a 30% off BT friends and family discount code. My phone is ready for an upgrade so I want to get the IPhone 13 pro max but when I go into the basket it won’t let me put a code in for it. It will only let me put a code in if I choose the iPhone 13 not the pro max. 
I’ve phoned EE but they won’t help because I’ve got to do it on the website but it still doesn’t work. 
Can anyone help please?

@cavanmcgill  if that tariff already has a discount on it and you cannot add another discount to it.  If you still want that tariff customer services can help as they can remove the discount that’s already applied to it so your F&F can be added to it.

Thanks for that! I just phoned again they said I had discount on my account so asked them to take it off and it’s still doing the same. How can I get hold of customer services directly? Got to go through different people it’s a nightmare.
