Adding/removing a bolt on midway through a contract

So, my pay monthly contract is up. I can upgrade my sim only deal to a 12 month or 24 month contract but….no one can tell me if i can add and remove a roaming bolt on midway through a new contract. I dont want to pay extra for roaming abroad when i might only go abroad one or two weeks this year. Does anyone know if i can add/remove a roaming bolt on midway through a new contract ? Thx

@Hedgey : If you mean the Roam Abroad Pass you can cancel it by texting STOP ROAMING PASS to 150. It is charged for pro-rata.
