eSIM

Hi everyone, can someone help? So I’ve just arrived in the USA for a holiday and although my phone is set to international roaming, it was not connecting to a service. After contacting EE directly I was told it was an unusual problem based on what my settings were displaying, and showed options for personal and private numbers, to cut a long story short, in attempting to delete a profile I accidentally wiped my eSIM, and now I’ve been told that nothing can be done until I return to the uk (unless I’m willing to get a temp sim in the USA. Does anyone have any advice?

Hi @Heafy1982

Thanks for coming to the community.

If the eSIM profile has been deleted you would need a replacement SIM card which would need to be activated in the UK.

I am very sorry you would need to complete this when back in the UK.

Leanne.

Thanks Leanne, it was worth a shot. At least I can use my phone on WiFi still.
