Phone has stopped sending imessage

I have recently joined EE, switching from GiffGaff. I no longer can send imessages to my contacts. I have checked my send and receive setting in the messages settings app and my number and apple ID is ticked. 

Roaming in Italy

Roaming in Bulgaria

Hi, I am due an upgrade and I am looking at the 120GB plan. Is that 120GB a month for £20? And also I am currently stuck in Bulgaria and been using my phone with no problem, would there be any changes if I change my plan and post-Brexit?
