Scam calls when Abroad

Have anybody noticed that you get more scam calls when you’re roaming abroad? I have noticed that every time I land somewhere abroad I get several scam calls trying to sell me or help me to claim compensation?

Hi @ksherlala

Becase you have used free WiFi without a VPN.

These numbers rotate but in mosttcases it is becase you have used your number and agreed to advertiser's say on a shopping site, social media, competition or as I say above free WiFi.

You can try registering your number here: https://www.tpsonline.org.uk/register

Thanks

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.
I know all what you have mentioned, but I’m specifically talking while I’m
roaming abroad. This is the time when I get most of these calls.
Best wishes

Khaled Sherlala

Those spam callers are monitoring your every move!

@ksherlala , I have been abroad, and have not had scam calls or text, so not sure why you are receiving them, it must be to do with the way you set up social media, shopping sites and competitions etc, otherwise plenty of others would be complaining.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using web based app or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.
I understand all what you said, but my point is why I am getting more of
these calls when I’m abroad?
Best wishes
