Re: malicious sim swapping

This is totally misleading I’ve just had my number stolen with a password.  Someone from the back room requested it.  I want my number back and EE are saying they can’t retrieve when it had a password and having being with them for 7 years.  This number has everything and access to emails and bank accounts…

Good morning @Mnurein

Thanks for coming here.

I am very sorry to hear this has happened.

Could you confirm if our customer care team sent this off to the fraud team for further investigation?

Can you expand a little on what's happened here?

@Mnurein  You need to inform your bank and any other company that your number is associated with.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Thank you,   They did but I was received mixed answers.  One person said they couldn’t do anything and my number won’t be returned as they are unable to retrieve it.  Another person said to wait.  The complaints case number is 23495494.  It’s seems ridiculous that you are unable to get my number.

Someone from the back office had requested my number to be ported away to another network.  Considering I had a password on my account, it had to be overridden by someone.  Now it’s proving difficult to get back my number.
