Obtain specific phone number

I'm not sure if this is the correct subject location but for years I have wanted a phone number that has not been in use since it was last registered with EE.

I am now planning to switch back to EE from O2 but only if I can obtain the phone in question, I tried years ago in store but they did not know how to go about this.

They then put me through to customer services but they had nobody that could help at that time of day if I recall, with my interest renewed could somebody please help me obtain this number. Thanks, all.

Do you not want to keep the number you have from 02? If that is the case get a PAC code from 02 and give it to EE.

As for a previous number, it would have been redistributed to someone else, so not sure you will get it, but you could always ring customer service and see if it is available, but I believe it will cost you to get it, only customer service can let you know.
