Hi!

Badly need your help.

I’ve arrived in the Philippines with my phone (EE- monthly payment sim) showing NO SERVICE.

Tried:

1. Roam on/off- Mobile date On- waited for more than 24hrs

2. Automatic selection of network and Manual selection as well (waited for 24hrs)

3. Restarting phone

4. Activating add ons via EE online account— (thinking maybe because it’s not actively used other than the 5G as mobile data used)

5. Switching to other mobile phone handset- nothing happened

I suspect you've not enabled international roaming on your phone, which would prevent it connecting to foreign networks and cause the symptoms you describe.

There is currently no option to do so online, and is separate from billing add-ons. You will need to contact EE CS to enable this, either from another working phone or via a web-calling app such as Skype.

This advice assumes you are on pay-monthly.

Yes I am on pay- monthly and Yes I wasn’t able to turned on my international roaming on my phone.

Thank you for your advise. I will try calling them thru the mentioned app. 

*I just thought that I could do it online.
