I purchased data for turkey but it hasn't turned on? Got nothing

Anyone have any ideas why the data package I've activated hasn't turned on. I'm in turkey with no data so have rely on WiFi which is a pain

Welcome to the community. 

Did you activate roaming before leaving the UK?

Purchasing the add-on does not automatically activate the roaming service. 

This needs to be activated by texting ROAMING to 150 or by giving us a call.

Are you on pay as you go or contract?

If on contract, did you activate roaming on your account before going abroad? 

If on pay as you go, did you activate, use your SIM card before going abroad? These have to be activated in the UK first.
