HMRC Call rates

Curiousquestion

I'm seeing lots of contradictory info online. Does it cost, and if so how much, to call 0300 numbers like the HMRC line?

On my plan I have unlimited calls, but it doesn't say to what numbers.

Hi @Curiousquestion

Welcome to the community

I'm not sure what contradictory information you've seen, but I'd recommend a read of this EE & also this Ofcom help article.

03 numbers are landline numbers and charged in exactly the same way. If you have an unlimited call bundle (whether it's landline or mobile) it will include calls to landline numbers - meaning any UK number beginning 01, 02 or 03.
