Getting calls and text reminders not for myslef

Since my partner had his contract through myself he obviously had a new number and phone, but the 3 years in having it he is still receiving texts and calls for other people including hospital appointments, eye appointments, smear tests all for different people or couples each time... we don't understand how this is as he's never given his number out other than close family? Also we have rang the hospitals and different places telling them to remove the number off the system as he isn't who they are looking for and still receiving them constantly. What do we do?

@Shaylp It’s possible that the number has been recycled several time before your partner got it. Or several people just can’t read their own number.

 

In any case, you can ask EE for a new number. They usually charge for this, but are likely. To waive the charge if the calls are harassing, which, in my opinion from what you say, they are.
