Data Roaming Around Europe

Hello EE Community,

I trust everyone is doing well. I'm in the process of planning a three-day trip to the Netherlands, and I'm currently under a 24-month contract with EE. I'm aware that EU roaming costs £2.29 per day, totaling £6.87 for the duration of my trip. However, I'm curious about the data cap associated with this service. Additionally, I've noticed that this add-on cannot be removed. Hence, I presume that upon arrival in a European country, EE will automatically detect the location, and EU data roaming will activate automatically. Could someone confirm if this is how it operates? Any advice or assistance on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

1. On contract there is a FUP of 50GB per billing month.
2. The £2.29 / day add-on is not removable but is charged only on the days on which you use any of your UK allowances in EU.
3. Remember to text ROAMING to 150 before you leave UK to ensure the roaming ability is enabled on your account.

The TDP is not applicable to EU as you may use your UK data allowance there (up to 50GB pm).
