Credit but no data or minutes.

My account says I have £25 credit but it also says I have no messages, no minutes and no data. How can I use this credit? I am outside the UK at the moment and need to use my phone. I though i would be able to top up using this credit but it indicates it will take money out of my card and not use the credit. Urgent help required.

@AApsley   Your credit on your account will go towards calls/text and you need to purchase a data bundle to have data in the US. If you are using packs unfortunately you can not use these in the USA.   Have a look at THIS   Make sure you select PAYG and you can purchase a data bundle from the bottom of that page.
