I cant get a signal for my car or phones on the driveway of my property. Its ok in house and once i leave. However need on driveway for smart services in the car. A wifo extender will not work as car does not have ability ti connect to wifi only uses it own sim card to transmit and recieve data.

Have you had signal previously on the driveway?

Speak soon.

Leanne.

Hi Leanne this is an ongoing issue.

Hi @Shandygolfer

Welcome back to the community.

Are you able to check the postcode where you are having the problem on our coverage checker?

If you select the 'check status' button, it will let you know if we're aware of any problems in the area when this happens.

Leanne.

Yes I have checked and the general coverage for the postcode is good but this includes property that are not blocked by others as the road is a loop around those properties

I see @Shandygolfer

We are unable to guarantee signal in all areas, if you would like this looked into in more detail please give us a call on 0800 079 8586.

Leanne 🙂

If you can get WiFi-coverage to your driveway, then EE WiFi-calling should allow voice calls which can then handover to VoLTE-coverage when you drive away. You may need to experiment with the WiFi/mobile-preference settings in your phone, to find a balance that works if signal levels are borderline.

The ultimate solution to poor coverage is to install new network sites, but that's a long-term process.
