Data

I have just returned from a trip abroad and it says I've passed my data limit. I've logged in to add on more data and it keeps showing an error message. My ee account does not show me having used all my data and says no extra charges, but my phone does show me surpassing my data allowance. Will I be automatically charged for excess data use? My phone just says I've gone passed the limit, but I've not been told I need to pay and online it doesn't show extra charges incurred, from what I can see.

Your phone doesn't know what your EE data allowance is & is just telling you what its default Mobile Data usage is. You might want to increase its Mobile Data usage limit & billing cycle to fit those of EE.
