Does your mobile broadband SIM get cancelled after a period if it is not used or topped up?

If its PrePay or PAYG then yes, they will go into Hibernation / Cancelled if not used, topped up or a chargeable cost made within a 6 month period, so treat them as any other type of PAYG Sim.
