Inhand cellular router

Hi, I have a Inhand Cellular router. I ordered a Sim card for it, but the router will not connect to the network with it. It works with a mobile phone. I used to use Three and I had no problems with their Sim card. I just put it in and it worked. Is there some special setup procedure to get them working or do I need another type of Sim card for it?

Where did you get the router?

Is it locked to Three?

We got the router from an electrical company, not a mobile service
provider. I don't believe it is locked to Three. I have to do some more
research did be sure.

Have you checked and or changed the APN Settings for the EE Network.

I believe most of Inhand Routers are preconfigured APN Profiles for each Network but you have to select the correct Network Provider within the Admin Page.

When you say worked on Three, can you confirm Three UK.

Hi,

I have not changed any APN profiles and it was working on Tree UK.

Ok, check and change the APN Profile, might still be set on Three.

What should the APN profile look like?

Name: EE Internet.

APN: everywhere.

Username: eesecure.

Password: secure.

MMS Proxy: 149.254.201.135.

MMS Port: 8080.

Authentification Type: PAP.

APN Type: internet+MMS. ( If an entry is required type a * on its own)
